What is Shea Butter?

… Shea Butter is obtained from the nut of a tropical tree found in remote areas of Africa. Research has demonstrated the exceptional moisturizing, nourishing, protective and rejuvenating properties of this natural balm. Legend has it that Queen Nefertiti retained her divine beauty thanks to shea butter’s qualities!

What is hand-crafted?

… Hand-crafted soaps of Provence are manufactured in the respect of the traditional processes that can date back over hundreds of years. Since 1688 French law has declared that only soaps that are produced by following certain ancient methods, and containing only the purest ingredients, shall bear the famous mark “Savon de Marseille.” And due to its exceptional quality and purity, the Marseille soap is – in France – recommended by the health & medical circle to take care of the very fragile skins and to treat all skin diseases.

What is Vegetal?

… Vegetal means “plant based ingredients” and normally refers to the vegetable olive, palm or coconut oil used as a base for soap making.
